adobe cs3 suite licensing issue

For the second time, Adobe cs3 has stopped working with the message “Licensing for this product has stopped working”. I have tried to follow all the recomendations on the Adobe website but to no avail. The last time this happened, I had to clean the registry and re-install the program. I guess I will probably have to do this again. I am beginning to re-think my reliance on Adobe products.
