Seeking to leverage my HTML, CSS and jQuery skills, I decide to try to develop a web app aimed at mobile devices. I was able to add in Apple icons, geolocation and viewports but stumbled on a most fundamental point; what makes a good mobile design?

Of course, I am still struggling with this but really look forward to the mobile design workshop at Event Apart Seattle.
